Artist Statement:

I have always been deeply touched by my environment and feel my creative process gives me a way to make sense of the pain I see, and feel, in the world. Making my photographs gives me an opportunity to take suffering, and reframe it into something thought provoking and beautiful that transcends time and space. Because I dream about my photographs, my work also takes on a dream like quality that, is at its core, meaningful – spiritual. It is meant to be transformational and transcendent.
